Our Food

A Wholesome Approach

We know that preparing fresh, quality meals takes time. We want to take one thing off your plate by providing ready-to-eat meals that your babies and kids will love. We source the highest quality ingredients, produce, meats and fish from trusted farmers and purveyors, and we always prioritize organic, seasonal items.

How We Do It

Our team of chefs and pediatric dietitian create menus and meals that are designed and portioned to meet each child’s nutritional requirements. We prepare, cook and package all of our meals in our commercial kitchen, eliminating cross-contamination on the most common allergies.

Quality Ingredients

We cook in season to ensure the freshest ingredients and very best flavors are achieved and use items sourced locally as much as possible. We provide shelf unstable food because it’s real: fresh ingredients, no preservatives, no additives and no fillers. All our meals stay fresh for 7 days in the refrigerator.

Our Never Evers

Our meals will never contain peanuts, tree nuts or shellfish, artificial ingredients (colors, flavors, preservatives), refined sugars, trans fats, partially hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) or be vitamin and mineral fortified.

Tastes & Flavors

We use different herbs and spices to complement our fresh ingredients. Our chef’s inspiration spans the globe and influences the creation of recipes to help expand children's palates and keep them interested and curious about their food. Many of our meals feature these common herbs and spices: bay leaf, cilantro, dill, juniper, lemongrass, mint, parsley, rosemary, thyme, chili powder, cumin, curry powder, dry mustard, ginger, paprika, turmeric and zatar. We test out our recipes on babies, kids and adults and encourage parents and caregivers to try the meals so that you know what your kids are enjoying.

Our Process

When ingredients come in, they are prepped and cooked, then chilled, packaged and sealed within a temperature-controlled environment – all within 24 hours. Our production cycle is built to ensure that raw and cooked products are always separate, and that vegetables and meats don’t inadvertently come into contact either.

Common allergens icon with peanut, walnut and shrimp

Major allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts and shellfish are never used in our facility. Though best practices are used when preparing all meals, inadvertent cross-contamination of wheat and dairy may occur, even on meals that don’t contain wheat or dairy.
