Nurture Life, headquartered in the River North area of Chicago, is a subscription service that prepares wholesome, nutritious, ready-to-eat meals for babies, toddlers and kids and delivers them weekly, straight to customers’ doors. Our team of chefs and pediatric dietitian collaborate on every menu to ensure meals meet the changing nutritional needs of growing kids while introducing them to new flavors and textures. We are looking for a talented and driven entry-level marketing coordinator who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is passionate about being a part of a company that creates the very best meals for kids. The marketing coordinator will report directly to the director of marketing, working closely with the content marketing manager and the social media manager. This position will be responsible for supporting the content marketing department. Nurture Life is a rapidly growing startup in the foodtech industry led by a team with decades of experience in the technology and food and beverage industries. Your days will consist of…

  • Executing content marketing initiatives across all digital channels to drive traffic, engagement, conversions and retention
  • Copy editing and assisting with writing engaging, educational and concise content for our customers and prospective customers
  • Assisting with managing our editorial calendar, monitoring performance and channel distribution (blog, email, social, etc.)
  • Working with our content marketing manager and social media manager to ideate, design and produce digital and multimedia (audio/video/photo/interactive/graphic) content for inclusion on social media, web presences, blogs, emails, etc., including pre-production, production and post-production work. This may include collaborating with designers on blending copy with designs
  • Updating and/or reviewing website changes, ensuring all assets are accurate and verifying that linking and messaging are up-to-date
  • Monitoring social media channels, thoughtfully responding to inquiries and comments, engaging with our online community and communicating audience sentiments and feedback to appropriate internal teams
  • Brainstorming, planning, managing and if applicable, executing content-related photography shoots to create compelling imagery, gifs and videos for our digital asset library
  • Researching, sourcing and managing staging materials and talent for photoshoots
  • Assigning projects to photographers, keeping track of deadlines and manage, organizing and communicating to the marketing team when new assets arrive
  • Reviewing, editing, organizing and managing all of our digital marketing assets
  • Managing freelance copywriters, as needed

  • Have some Creative Cloud experience, preferred
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, preferred
